BBL Championship Play-off Semi-Final
Sheffield Sharks  74 (27,40,59)  (Stewart 20, Williams 13, Payne 11)
Scottish Rocks    76  (20,31,55)  (Myers 27, Huntley 17, Berry 11)

Scottish Rocks will face Brighton Bears in a meeting of the league's two sides left standing in the BBL Championship play-off final after Kevin Wall's side emerged victorious 76-74 in a dramatic semi-final with Sheffield Sharks.

Ted Berry was the hero, scoring with 1.2 seconds left to complete the Scots' stunning rally from 12 points down.

A tight opening quarter saw the Sharks edge the Rocks 16-10 early on off the back of a 12-2 run midway through the first quarter and they ultimately led 27-20 at the end of the period.

The league champions came out strong in the second quarter scoring nine of the opening 13 points to lead 36-24, but the Rocks hit back to cut the deficit to nine points at 40-31 going into the second half.

The Braehead outfit came out in the second half hitting ten of the opening fourteen points in the third quarter, but Sheffield kept themselves in front leading by four points at 59-55 going into the final stanza.

The Rocks opened the final period with a 7-1 run to take a one point lead at 62-61. Both sides traded baskets, and with 1:34 remaining, Berry hit a three-pointer to tie the game at 74-74.  Both sides had chances to win the game, before Berry's final five points sealed the upset.

The Braehead outfit now take on Brighton in the final and are aiming to continue their run of upsets in the decider.

“They’re a great team and well coached. But we played them well twice this season and beat them once so anything is possible,” Wall said.

Shawn Myers led all scorers with 27 points and13 rebounds for the victors, while Lynard Stewart led the Sharks scoring with 20.
