Birmingham Bullets
booked their place in the semi final round of the BBL Trophy maintaining
their 100% record in the competition this season with a 96-82 success over
the Milton Keynes Lions.
And it was veteran
centre Martin Henlan who turned back the clock with a 25 point and 10 rebound
which led the way for the Midlands outfit.
After an even first
quarter, the Bullets posted a 13-2 tear to put daylight between the two
sides and lead 44-30.
Lions however trimmed
the deficit to just 7 just after the half time break only for the hosts
to put the game beyond their reach with a 17-5 burst moving them 61-42
clear.
