Thames Valley Tigers completed their BBL Trophy campaign with a victory but it was not enough to see them progress to the semi final round. 

The Tigers needed an unlikely 17 point victory to qualify but their 83-76 defeat of the Brighton Bears ensured the south coast sides elimination also with the Kinder London Towers progressing from the pool on points scored difference as all sides finished with a 2 and 2 record.

In a tense game the Bears, who held a slender advantage throughout the opening three quarters, offence failed in the final quarter where they managed just 13 points allowing their visitors to score the final seven points of the game to come from behind and 
sneak the win. 

Brighton, having started the season with 11 straight wins have now lost 3 games consecutively.
