Troon Tornadoes edged out Edinburgh Kings 73-69 in the Scottish Cup Final at the Kelvin Hall to clinch the prize for the first time in their history.
Brothers Ross and Neal Campbell combined for 43 points as the Ayrshire outfit ended Edinburgh's hopes of completing the double - and avenged
their loss in the final of 2001."They were all magnificent. We played from the heart and that made all the difference in the final stages," said coach Tom Campbell.
Dan Wardope had 25 points for the Kings who shot only 4 of 20 from three-point range.
Edinburgh Kool Kats cruised to the women's Scottish Cup with a 64-46 win over Midlothian Saints.
It was a first loss for the Saints this season and although the league champions held their own in the first stanza, they gave up 21 unanswered points in the second as Edinburgh raced clear, paced by 32 points from Lauren Walker.
"Now the challenge is to be more consistent next year and try to win the league," said Edinburgh coach Ben Gunn.
The capital club won four of the six finals over the weekend.
