The Bears claimed a second ULEB Cup win in a row with an 86-81 victory over Ionikos of Greece to improve to a 2-5 record.
Having broken their away hoodoo before Christmas in Split, Bears led by as many as eight in the first quarter, but it took a 12-4 finish to the first half to give them a 47-40 advantage at the break. Robert Conley helped Ionkios level the game with the first seven points of the second half and it remained tight until the closing minutes.
A Mike Brown triple sparked an 8-1 burst by the Bears in the dying minutes to lead 82-76. Conley threatened to help the visitors back in it with a three-pointer, but as he fouled out, Bears eased home.
Randy Duck missed only four shots as he hit a game high 32 points, with Conley leading the Greeks with 26.
Elsewhere in Group F, Cholet upset Prokom Trefl 64-61 while Lietuvos Rytas now top the standing alone after hammering Split Croatia 103-56.
