After getting off the mark with two straight victories, Brighton bagged 12 of the final 14 points of the first quarter, finishing with a Sullivan Philips dunk, to take a 19-12 lead into the second period. However, the Lithuanian side battled back and nine unanswered points
saw them take the lead at 29-27, before Bears re-asserted themselves with the final eight points of
the half, establishing a 35-29 midway advantage.A Mike Brown three pointer spear-headed a 9-0 run
in the third quarter to extend Bears' lead out to 47-35 and they maintained a double-digit advantage
heading into the final stanza. Bears' lead peaked at 14 points at 60-46 and though Lietuvos Rytas
cut the gap to six points at 58-64, a 7-2 Bears' run made the result safe.Randy Duck was the star man, bagging a game-high 20 points for the BBL outfit. Kendrick Warren added 14, matched by the Lithuanian's top scorer Aaron Lucas.
