Big South trio get off the mark
Shawn Jamison's 18 point debut led an all-round team showing from Pertemps Bullets Birmingham in overcoming adidas London Leopards 80-70 at NEC. Kenya Capers recovered from his ejection in Wednesday's Korac Cup game to score 18.
Haribo London Towers found Milton Keynes Lions no pushover at Crystal Palace but eventually pulled clear for a 91-71 victory. Malcolm Leak and Danny lewis picked up where they left off at Wembley with 21 and 20 points respectively while Eric Burks marked his Lions debut with 19.
Thames Valley led for most of the game against short-handed Chester Jets and grabbed a 104-90 win. Greg Francis of Chester led all scorers on 25 while Jason Siemon had 23 for Tigers.
