Thames Valley
Tigers bounced back from Saturday’s disappointment to beat Brighton Bears
77-106 on Sunday at the Brighton Centre.
It was a game that
the visitors dominated throughout, as they turned a 24-17 first-quarter
advantage into a 17-point half-time lead, thanks to an 11-0 tear in the
second quarter. A further 14-2 run in the third period put the game beyond
the Bears and gave Thames Valley their first win of the season.
John McCord spearheaded
the Tigers’ attack with a game-high 28 points, while Michael Brown added
27 points for the home side.
