The Pitch: Be LeBron James by wearing the shoes he PERSONALLY designed ! The new and updated shoes from Cleveland's cavalier have hit the market with some hype. Nike says: The new design with leather support tabs, full zoom air unit in the heel and forefoot, carbon fibre spring plate, great traction and the sphere technology in the collar to offer comfort and helps manage moisture. The Look: The LB3 isn't flash. Air-filled soles. Good for court but maybe not the club - but not great. The colours are a bit garish and there's just too much plastic. The Shoe: Very, very comfortable but not as light as other shoes around. It offers great support and balance in the air and on the ground but the backs need a bit of breaking to stop the achilles getting an early shock. Grip could use some work. The Verdict: Not as good as LeBron Mk2 - but still worth considering. But we suggest No.23 sticks to hooping and leaves the design to the pros. Overall, it's another fine shoe from Nike but not their best work by any means. Rating:
