Leopards touch down with win

Leopards went 0-5 on their recent US tour. Bullets went 4-4.

Back from the States to the more earthy surroundings of Brentwood, it was the hosts who shook off their tour lag and came up trumps for a 109-87 victory over Birmingham to leap to third in the Southern Conference.

In the second quarter Leopards raced away with the game - outscoring the Bullets 20-3 to lead 54-29. Leopards were never in trouble after that and had four players scoring 19 or more points.

Jason Kimbrough posted a double double 19 points and 10 rebounds.

Ben Walker with 29 and Brant Bailey on 22 paced Birmingham who added Stephen Barnes to their roster before the game. The 6'8" England international, once a Bullets junior,  joins the team following a spell at Kinder London Towers.
