BBL new
boys Plymouth Raiders have rapped the league for a delay in producing fixtures
next season.
An anticipated unveiling
of the scheduled at the end of July has been held up Leicester's protracted
move to an as yet undecided venue in the city which will hold up the process
for at least three weeks.
Raiders’ Director
Ian Buse said, “Naturally we are extremely frustrated by this extra delay.
We appreciate that our fans are excited about our first season amongst
the elite of the BBL and it is disappointing that we are still not in a
position to issue fixtures.
“However, this is
a difficult situation for the club concerned and therefore we must be patient,
as we would hope would be the case if the tables were turned."
The BBL currently
only has one full-time employee after a series of agreed departures from
its staff.
