Kings-Saints play-off for Scots Championship
Edinburgh Kings went one better than their city neighbours, the Rocks, by reaching the play-off finals, booking a showdown in the newly-established Scottish Championship decider with St. Mirren after defeating Paisley 92-69 at Linwood for a 183-132 aggregate victory. Star of the show was Laurie Costello who hit a career-best 36 points to spark the Kings romp.
In the other last four tie, Saints progressed past Clark Eriksson Fury 144-118 over the two legs, the return tie at Linwood resulting in a 74-67 home win, the league champions led by 20 points from Alisdair Rae.
The first game will be at Linwood Sports centre on Friday night (8pm) with the return at Portobello High School on Saturday (12.15pm), and the decider if necessary at Linwood on Sunday.
