Mark Woods is a freelance writer and broadcaster, based in Edinburgh, United Kingdom.

I have been a journalist for almost three decades and my work regularly features in several print and broadcast media outlets in the UK and overseas.

I am a writer, commentator and illuminating pundit on a variety of sports - in particular basketball, athletics and myriad Olympic sports. But in travelling all over the world in my job, there is very little I haven't covered at some point.

I broadcast on a number of outlets, including the BBC, BT Sport and commercial radio in the UK, as well as other stations overseas, and on Podcasts.

I am currently chair of the British Athletics Writers Association, a member of the Sports Journalists Association and the Professional Basketball Writers Association, and sit on the Commission of AIPS, the international sports media union.

Additionally, I am a board member and trustee of the Inch Park Community Sports Trust and play basketball and golf equally badly.

Throughout my website, you can find out more about what I do - and what I've already done.
